The first cover design takes inspiration from Michelangelo's The Creation of Adam. This presents the Book of Genesis as a compilation of creation narratives deepening the relationship between God and man. The black and white color scheme represents the strong duality present—that of the divine nature of God, and the mortal nature of man. Despite this, the two colors interact with each other, showing how God cares for His creation, and how man is created in God's image and likeness.

The second cover design presents the Book of Genesis as a written historical account. With a leather cover material, and the text embossed in gold on the cover, it represents something likely to be found in a library or a museum. Some people take the Book of Genesis as a literal historical account instead of its symbolical truth, and this design is a nod to that belief.

Finally, the third cover design takes the Book of Genesis as a story book for the youth of today. Dawning a colorful design patterned after the rainbow (a key element in the creation narrative from Genesis, symbolizing as God's covenant to man), the design evokes a friendlier, less intimidating vibe to its reader.
